Elegantees & Fall Feelings

Editor's Note: All photos in this post are by our sweet friend and amazing photographer Nicole. If you are ever in Charleston, even for vacation, she is your girl for pictures. Thank you, Nicole -- we admire your work so much! See more of her photos HERE.

There is something dreamy about Fall. For me, it's the cooler weather, the changing of the oak leaves, the transition to layered clothing, and the promise of something new. I pull out old books (Anne of Green Gables), start a pot of cider on cool evenings, and boots get dusted off and worn on crisp days. It always feels excited to see how new colors in our wardrobes also start to subtly shift with the seasons. Colors like olive, navy, warm yellow and orange tones, deep reds...these colors are inviting and joyful -- another reason to be a little smitten with Fall.

My favore color this season? Ginger. This earthy, warm-yellow was not a color I had in my wardrobe until Elegantees released their Fall Line and introduced me to the darling Julia Peplum

The fitted, long sleeves, coupled with the ruffles, makes this shirt an item I can easily dress up or down. It's the perfect transition piece for fall, because it has just enough warmth, while still being light enough to add layers. A few week's back, I did a full post about Elegantees, their role in sustainable fashion, and how they're restoring victims of human trafficking. Read more here!

I wanted to really highlight the versatility of this color, so I added other bright pop in this outfit. My necklace is from Starfish Project, another company I adore who rescues and restores victims of human trafficking in Asia. You can read more about them here! The bright blues in the necklace, and the deep reds and navy hues in my Root Collective flats felt like the perfect fit with this lovely peplum top.

This is Elegantees largest Fall collection to date, and the pieces will not disappoint. There are so many colors and styles to choose from -- even cardigans, which are perfect for this change in weather! Right now, Elegantees has a goal of adding 6 more seamstresses to their team by 2018! I truly believe this is possible!

If you are considering a new piece for this Fall, I cannot recommend Elegantees enough. Their pieces are so well made, the fabric is beyond soft, and the styles and colors are so versatile. ALSO!!! We have the pleasure of being able to offer you 15% off your entire purchase with the code ELLEANORANDINDIGO -- (happy dancing!).

Fun fact about the above photo...the Mayor of Charleston walked down the stairs as we were shooting and told us we were doing a good job! I may have turned 8 shades of red :) I should have offered him my discount code lol!

I hope you enjoy the Fall line as much as I do! It brings me so much joy to know the stories and faces behind the clothing that I wear, and I know it will do the same for you! Stay tuned for the end of the month -- I style this peplum with one another brand I adore: Noonday Collection! I'll have a fun interview and look into their fall pieces too!
